Several content marketing awards are worth marking on your calendar. Sign up for the reminders or connect on social media if deadlines have already passed. No one wants more emails and random tweets, I get it. But, seriously, they are life savers so you don’t have to keep checking back.
While your work may show for itself, it’s also important to have a winning submission. Be specific in your application, including detailed metrics of growth, strategy, and any examples of content that truly resonated with your audience and why. Keep in mind that both specificity and succinct language help judges to understand the impact you are making. Most of them are doing this on their downtime; don’t waste their time. Get to the point with your pitch. Net net? Don’t fill up the word count for the sake of word count. Like the content you produce, write with your reader in mind.
